Athato Foundation News - 2025 -26
We are pleased to report on the activities of the Athato Foundation, a Kasarabada Trust, including the new additions in 2025-26.
Athato Foundation continued the Kasarabada Scholar
program at PR Govt College at Kakinada,and Gayatri Vidya
Parishad at Visakhapatnam in AP. The Total number of
students awarded reached new high. The ongoing and new
Scholars programs are as under.
During 2025-26, the Athato Foundation awarded the
Kasarabada Scholars in the under-graduate (UG) program at
PR Govt college Kakinada , AP. The scholarships are
awarded in all the three years of the program. Scholarship
amount being Rs750 per months for the nine months of the
academic program based on merit. The scholars were awarded
in the following disciplines based on merit:
(1) Three scholars in the three year BSc degree program
with Physics as Honors.
(2) Three scholars in the three year BSc degree
program in Renewable Energy Management as Honors.
(3) Three scholars in the three year BSc degree program
with Botany as Honors.
(4) Three scholars in the three year under-graduate degree
program with Sanskrit as the second language .
(5) Three scholars in the three year BSc degree program in
Information Technology with Electronics as Minor.

(6) There are two awards of Rs 5000 each for the
two best projects in Electronics and Computers under
the KKRA (Kasarabada Kamaraju Research Awards) institued a
few years ago.
(7) The Athato Foundation continued the Kasarabada Scholar program at Gayathri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for four students in 2025-26. The Kasarabada Scholar received Rs. 2000/- per month for the nine months of the academic calendar, amounting to Rs. 18,000/-.
(8) The foundation also continued the award of Rs. 7,500/- for the best student in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for women at Vizag for the year 2023-24.
Thus, a total of 20 scholars are supported by the Athato Foundation in 2025-26. The foundation also supported four research awards under the KKRA program, and two awards at the MGH School, Guntur. All of the above programs are slated to continue during the academic year 2026-27.
The Trust has been the beneficiary of the generosity of
its patrons during 2025-26. Specifically, this year,
Mrs. C. Subbalakshmi (Rs. 80,000), and Shri PC Murali (Rs.
24,000). The support received goes a long way towards
establishing the long-term stability of the Trust
activities through Athato Foundation.
